The Unit has a responsibility to:

1. Establish communication links within ZIMCHE and with external stakeholders;
2. Develop and implement a communications policy for the ZIMCHE;
3. Publish and disseminate a comprehensive HEMIS statistics of the sector;
4. Champion the creation of a positive image for ZIMCHE;
5. Market ZIMCHE and publicise ZIMCHE’s activities;
6. Organise and coordinate conferences, events, workshops and seminars for all officers responsible for information in HEI’s;
7. Create platforms for interaction and information dissemination through the ZIMCHE website and other interactive social media platforms.
