The Zimbabwe Council For Higher Education (ZIMCHE) held its workshop on Minimum Body of Knowledge (MBK) and Notional Hours in Engineering Disciplines from 30-31 January 2018 at the Harare Institute of Technology. According to Dr. L. Nhembaware, the ZIMCHE Principal Director for Registration and Accreditation, minimum bodies of knowledge workshop was attended by academics from the local universities engineering departments, professionals and experts from the engineering sector to ensure that whatever is agreed upon as the learning material for students studying engineering programmes in our local universities is acceptable within the industry.
The workshop was attended by at least two lecturers of the same engineering study programme and the chairperson of a department from all local universities.
