Introduction

Registrars from all universities in Zimbabwe (both public and private) held a meeting at Chinhoyi University of Technology Hotel under the auspices of the Internationalization of Higher and Tertiary Education (IHTE) Framework Development Taskforce chaired by the Registrar of Chinhoyi University of Technology, Dr T. B. Bhebhe.

Dr E. C. Garwe, the Deputy CEO and Mr L. C. K. Gwati, Director for Audits, both from ZIMCHE also attended the meeting.

Out of the twenty-three registrars that were invited, only three, from Gwanda State University, Zimbabwe National Defence University and Arrupe Jesuit University sent apologies.

The meeting started with self-introductions by all present followed by welcome remarks from the Chairman of the Taskforce, Dr Bhebhe.
